The Most Valuable Advice You Can Ever Receive On Robots That Vacuum And Mop
Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean offer the convenience of cleaning both dry debris and wet messes in one session without the need to switch devices. They can also save space compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will have excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that can automatically empty their bin and refill their water tank, and machine-wash their mopping pads from an appropriate dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has plenty to offer for its modest price and is among the easiest robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking is simple, and the quick-start guide gets you up and running in no time. You'll have a a full dust bag, water tank, and hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and vacuum well. The mops spin at high speeds and can apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, allowing for quick removal of pet hair, dirt, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a selection of brushes and attachments, and a user-friendly app that lets you pick the kind of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
You could, for instance request the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly, but leave the bedroom to itself. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation technology are also excellent and the robot is able to detect tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only drawback is that the robot tends to crash into objects and walls at full speed. However looking at the history of cleaning on the app will show you exactly what the robot done, where it is traveling, and what obstacles it has stumbled upon or avoided.
A handy LCD screen on the docking station tells you when maintenance jobs must be completed, such as emptying the debris tray and cleaning the dirty water tank. It's also able to mix detergent automatically into the water tank using a 600ml bottle of eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop are able to run for a long time, with the mop capable of running for 184 minutes in Quiet mode, and the vacuum capable of running for 136 minutes in normal mode before having to recharge or return to the base to refill. The app is simple to use and intuitive, allowing you to view every aspect of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop is the most recent version. In contrast to the model of last year it comes with two agitators in its mopping pad, which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity that enables it to pick up smaller hairs and other particles other robotic cleaners might miss.
Like the other two Roborock models I've tested, this one has reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology to help it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by having a dual camera that can detect objects and decide whether they are an object that is a wall or a different surface. It will then automatically alter its path and clean them without missing a beat.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed but it's also feature-packed. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it has only three physical buttons that include the power button which also resumes cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button to send the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid can be opened to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank is self-emptying and the bin is auto-filling.
The only negative I discovered with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. While you can swap out the mopping cloth (if needed), it's a pain to take off the mount itself to wash manually. I've found that any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, and could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of smart features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can manage and set up these through the Roborock app that is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to plan cleanings and monitor battery life. However, you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to enable voice control on this model which is unfortunate considering the performance of this model.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with incredible suction power, sophisticated mowing capabilities, and innovative features. Its intelligent design allows for customised and efficient cleaning while reducing time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to offer 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is one of the most powerful choices available. This powerful vacuum removes the dry mess, which includes pet hair and dust. It also has a high-quality mop that leaves hard floors sparkling clean, even with a wet pad. In addition the X40 is very quiet during its operation, with only occasional bursts of sound when switching modes or completing self-maintenance tasks.
Another noteworthy characteristic is the X40's extendable and liftable side brush, which lets it get into difficult-to-access corners and clean furniture such as table and chair legs. The robot can also reach under furniture that is low-profile, making it an excellent choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush automatically tilts down when it detects wet spots. This is a nice feature that helps the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors through repeated back-and-forth movements.
Unlike other robots, which are limited to a single task, the X40 can mop and vacuum at the same time. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors, and skip carpeted areas or reverse the process. It can be controlled through the Dreame app or by using Alexa, Siri, and Google Home to ensure a smooth voice-controlled operation.

The app is easy to use and understand and the X40 comes with a variety of smart features that are simple to install. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. They can also adjust suction power, change modes, view floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and notify you when it's done.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with numerous features which make it a good option for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, cleans the mop pads, and refills them with clean water and a cleaning solution. It also can detect whether the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and alert you to the situation before it spills.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available on the market. However, it has several features that make it stand out. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that uses two high-speed mops to scrub floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and it comes with the highest suction power of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can clean pet hair and other small dirt particles - as well as picking up spills and wet spots.
The mop mops are cleaned and dried in the base station every time they are used. This is a great feature because it stops mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is a feature that we haven't seen in other robot mop and vacuum models. It could be a great method to keep your home cleaner longer.
There's a wealth of settings on offer that include the ability to schedule cleaning times and adjust a number of different preferences. These can be set via the app or buttons that can be found on the device itself. The app is easy to use and has a lot of options to customize the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are a lot of features that other robots do not include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically boosts suction power when it detects dust particles, instead of using an individual setting.
vacuum bot has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks elegant and elegant. It's a bit heavier than the other two-in-one robots in this list, at 4kg but it's not too heavy, and it feels robust and well built. Mopping is also well-designed, and best robot vacuum cleaner rotating mop is great for hard floors and in corners. They can also extend to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice touch.
